Simulation Consortium

Virginia Commonwealth University’s Simulation Consortium consists of leaders from the health sciences schools: Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy. The team works together to incorporate a range of simulation practices into their curricula, regularly exposing students to lifelike scenarios that reinforce and enhance knowledge gained from classroom education.

Simulation allows nursing students to practice assessment skills and develop clinical judgment.

Pharmacy students can manipulate patient simulators to learn firsthand how a drug produces a certain result.
